1st Day of Preschool

Cody and Owen had their first day of preschool today. Well, it wasn't Cody's first day, he went last year, but it was his first day for this year. Both boys were super excited and couldn't wait to be dropped off. We decided to split the boys up this year for preschool. They are at different schools, Owen goes in the AM and Cody goes in the PM, which gives for some good one on one time with Dad and Elle. We felt like they needed to grow independently, especially after the past few Sunday's at Church. Cody and Owen are suppose to be in separate classes but they cry for each other and the teacher's end up letting them go in the same class. What's odd, is they don't play together when they are in the same class. Cody likes one thing and Owen likes another and they totally play separately. But, I guess just knowing they are in the same room provides enough security for each of them. They are so attached to each other, we thought it would be better to split them up this year rather next year when Cody goes to Kindergarten. Anyways, both boys did very well and had a great first day.
